The Capricorn School of Dancing teaches Tap Dancing under the guidence of the Federal Association  of Teachers of Dance, Australia (F.A.T.D) syllabus.

F.A.T.D tap grade syllabus starts at Pre-Primary through to Grade 5, Bronze, Silver and Gold Star performance exams and Pre-Elemenary to Advanced for senior students wishing to persue a teaching career in Tap.

Students, both boys and girls, usually begin Tap classes around the age of 4 years. Examinations are held in October each year and students are awarded with individual examination reports and certificates.
