The Principal Narelle Aspinall, is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing (London) and The Federal Association of Teachers of Dance (Aust).

   

Narelle began her own dancing career at the age of 5 years under the guidence of Miss Jaqueline Parker and then moved on to continue and complete her dance training with the late Miss Valerie Hansen.

 

After completion of her final examinations, Narelle then went onto to teach under the guidence of Miss Hansen at studios in Rockhampton, and the surrounding areas of Yeppoon and Mt Morgan.

 

In 1981, Narelle then established her own studio in Rockhampton. In this time, Narelle has watched her school grow and expand, resulting in the use of 3 studios on both the Northside and Southside of Rockhampton.

 

In 1999 Narelle was also appointed the Central Queensland  Reigonal Co-ordinator for the Federal Association of Teachers of Dance (FATD) (Australia).

 

Last  year Narelle was happy to announce the appointment of  Miss Sharon Hamilton, a respected  Registered RAD Classical Ballet Teacher and former Bronze Medalist at the prestigious Adeline Genee Awards in London. Miss Hamilton is also a highly experienced Teacher in both Jazz/Modern and Contemporary dance and teaches regular weekly classes in these styles of dance.

 

The students of Narelle Aspinall's Capricorn School of Dancing are also very fortunate to have the teaching services of Mrs. Lauren Belonogoff.  Mrs Belonogoff joined the teaching staff in 2001 as the F.A.T.D Jazz Examination Teacher. Lauren is also a qualified A.R.A.D Classical Ballet Teacher and a fully Qualified F.A.T.D Jazz and Tap Teacher.
